About Coach

Jason is an owner and head trainer at Man O’ War Fitness. He’s a lifetime athlete with competitive experience in basketball, baseball, and football, as well as combat sports such as wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts. After two traumatic injuries (ACL tears) Jason was forced to stop competing and shift his focus to sport-specific coaching and personal training.

Turning Point

After two traumatic injuries (ACL tears) Jason was forced to stop competing and shift his focus to sport-specific coaching and personal training. “In 2008, I began working with general population clientele as well as amateur MMA athletes. By 2010, I was coaching mostly professional fighters and collegiate athletes at a premier sport-specific training facility (HIIT Center).” Jason’s time there served as a gateway to CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. By 2012, he and Taylor Johnson had opened their own affiliate, and have been changing lives ever since!”

Motivation & Passion

I'm passionate about passing down the knowledge I've learned from my own personal trials & tribulations with mental and physical performance. I love watching people grow and live up to their full potential both inside and outside of the gym!
